Chetopa's Duggan returns in win

The Chetopa Green Hornets routed Tyro-Christian 73-39 on Tuesday night.

Connor Wright led Chetopa with 24 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double.

The biggest development for Chetopa, though, was the return of Cadin Duggan to the lineup after he suffered life-threatening injuries in a game at the St. Paul Early Season Tournament prior to winter break. 

In his first action back, Duggan scored 11 points in limited minutes. 

 

St. Paul girls capture win over Columbus

The St. Paul Indians girls notched a win over Columbus Tuesday night, winning 39-30.

St. Paul overcame a slow start where the Indians were held to four points in the first quarter.

Josie Harris led St. Paul with 13 points while Elise Doherty added 11.

 

IN THE BOYS GAME…St. Paul was dominated by Columbus 76-29.

Trey Peters led St. Paul with 12 points.

Altoona-Midway ousts Oswego boys

The Altoona-Midway Jets boys beat the Oswego Indians on Tuesday night 51-47.

Oswego fell behind 26-10 at halftime and spent the entire second half clawing its way back into the game.

Trayton Walker led the Indians with 124 points while Lance Teal chipped in 14. Altoona was paced in scoring by Joshua Meigs’ 18 points.
