MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Donald R. Logan Sr., 73, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away at his home on Friday, Oct. 2, 2020.
Donald was born in Mound Valley to Raymond and Bessie Logan on Feb. 20, 1947. He attended Labette County Community High School in Altamont. Don served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969.
On Sept. 25, 1970, Don married Conjetta “Jody” in Mound Valley. After attending the Coffeyville Vocational Technical School in 1976, where he earned a certification in drafting, Don worked as general manager for Parker Industries until 1992, when he moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Don worked as a machinist at Nielson Wheel in Milwaukee until he retired due to poor health in 2003.
He is survived by his wife Jody; daughter, Chrystal Mueller (Greg) of Mukwonago, Wisconsin; son, Donald R. Logan Jr. (Tammie) of Mound Valley; grandchildren, Josh and Logan Walker, Mukwonago, Wisconsin; his sister, Jo Ann Etter (Jay) of Mound Valley; and many nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Bessie Logan; his brother, John Logan; and his niece, Karla Logan Bohr.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the First Baptist Church in Mound Valley.
