BRUNSWICK, Ohio — Lance Ray Norris, 61, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Lance was born on March 12, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Oswego schools through the ninth grade when his family moved to Lenexa, where he attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. He then attended Kansas University and the KU School of Pharmacy, where he received his pharmacy degree. His pharmacy career led to working in several hospitals and clinics.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shawna McKenna Norris; his mother, Dolores Norris Cilibraise; his stepfather, Joseph Cilibraise; two sons, Troy Norris (Sarah) and Kenau Cody Norris; three daughters, Kirsten Hagemann (Nate), Erika Thompson (Jerrod), Emely Seaton (Gary); two stepsons, Shane McKenna (Lauren) and Patrick McKenna (Kirsten); a stepdaughter, Reggan Koopmeiners (Nate); six grandchildren, Olivia Thompson, Mason Thompson, Amelia Hagemann, Violet Hagemann, Angelina Seaton and Gary Seaton; seven stepgrandchildren, Jordan Fuhrer, Ella Fuhrer, Tyler Isbell, Barrett McKenna, Isabelle McKenna, Charlee McKenna and Fynn McKenna; a brother, Kristan (Beth); and three stepsisters, Deborah Zabloudil (Bob), Danette Stout (Dave) and Diane Erhard (Rick).
He was preceded in death by his father, John Richard Norris; brothers, John Norris Jr. and Tristan Norris; a sister, Tina Norris; a stepbrother, Donald Cilibraise; an aunt, Alice Norris Perry; and grandparents, Reinhold and Clara Wolter Mueller and Arthur and Allie Middleton Norris.
A celebration of life memorial graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Oswego Cemetery Pavilion. The Rev. Larry Parker will officiate. This will be an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate his life and to say good-bye.
Arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home, Oswego.
