Jeffrey C. “Jeff” Duncan, 58, of Parsons passed away at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019, at Elmhaven nursing home.
On Dec. 20, 1960, Jeffrey Curtis Duncan was born to Robert Dale and Lois (Babb) Duncan in Columbus. When Jeff was a young boy, he and his family moved to Parsons, where he grew up and attended school.
Jeff worked as a mechanic for the Panek family custom combining, Wass Trucking and Billman Mobile Home Moving. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and friends. Many of his neighbors and close friends were like family to Jeff. He also enjoyed working in the yard and gardening, fishing, playing pool and going to the lake.
Survivors include a brother, Doug Duncan of Parsons; five sisters, Connie Baumgardner of Parsons, Linda Shields of Waxhaw, North Carolina, Gail Kiser and her husband, Rick, of Parsons, Debbie Brown of Joplin and Kelli Martin and her husband, Mark, of Parsons; a sister-in-law, Glenda Duncan of Bel Aire; 12 nieces and nephews; 30 great-nieces and nephews; three aunts; an uncle; numerous cousins; and his beloved dog, Junior.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roger Duncan; and a great-nephew, Gerard Myers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will follow cremation.
