CHERRYVALE — Perry A. Willits, 69, of Cherryvale died on Monday, Oct. 5, 2020, at his home. He was born on Aug. 15, 1951, in Kendallville, Indiana, to Ralph and Gladys (Wilson) Willits.
He moved to Kansas in 1961 and had attended schools in both Indiana and Neodesha. Perry enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Perry had worked at Power Flame in Parsons and was currently working at Catalyst Converter in Independence.
He married Sandra K. “Sandy” Greenwood in 1972. They later divorced.
Survivors include two sons, Daniel Willits and his wife, Sarah, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Westley Willits of Parsons; three grandchildren, Kayleigh Goodwin, Nadia Goodwin and Mason Willits; two brothers, Chester Willits of South Carolina and Sherwin Willits of Neodesha; three sisters, Doris Bonger and Bernice Gannon, both of Indiana, and Phyllis Stinecipher of Neodesha.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Neodesha Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons.
