ST. PAUL — Tammie Marie Lindsey, 61, of St. Paul passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, at Prairie Mission Retirement Village in St. Paul.
She was born to Archie E. and Evelyn (Beery) McKinzie in Parsons on Oct. 31, 1957.
On May 15, 1975, Tammie married her high school sweetheart, Thomas B. Lindsey, in Erie. He survives of the home.
Tammie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family above all. Her loves in life were fishing, camping, dancing in earlier years, playing the slot machines at the casino and spending as much time as she can with family.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas B. Lindsey of St. Paul; children, Brant Lindsey of St. Paul, Heather Fink and her husband, Larry, of Fort Scott, and Andrea Bohrer and her husband, Jared, of Erie; grandchildren, Christopher Bohrer and his wife, Christian, of Erie, Denton Bohrer of St. Paul, McKinzie Bohrer of Fort Scott, Katlin Bohrer and Catherine Bohrer of Erie, Carissa Bowman and her husband, Alex, Brady Fink and his wife, Emily, Alex Fink and his wife, Keely, all of Fort Scott; great-grandchildren, Aliscia Bohrer, Paisley Bohrer and Kaylee Bohrer, all of Erie, Gracie Bowman and Campbell Bowman, both of Fort Scott.
Tammie was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Evelyn McKinzie; and both her brothers, Gary McKinzie and Eddie McKinzie.
Cremation has been requested. Arrangements have been entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Homes of Oswego.
