Marilyn J. Weltmer-Robison

MISSION — Marilyn J. (Elliott) Weltmer-Robison, 90, of Mission passed away at 5:50 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021. 

Marilyn was born in Hallowell on Feb. 26, 1931, to Ernest E. and Maxine M. (Bramlett) Elliott. She graduated from Oswego High School and later attended Parsons Junior College. She worked as a bookkeeper for Continental Can, Mound Valley Co-op and Dennis Co-op before her retirement. 

She married Harold M. Weltmer. They were blessed with three children, Dean, Arlene and Karen. They made their home on a farm in rural Mound Valley until Mr. Weltmer preceded her in death. She married Wilford “Willy” Robison on June 6, 2001. He preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 2014. 

Survivors include a son, Dean Weltmer and his wife, Linda, of Prairie Village; two daughters, Arlene Shelton and her husband, Tommie, of Altamont and Karen Winsett and her husband, Brad, of Eagle Rock, Missouri; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Karen Elliott of Manhattan. 

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Maxine Elliott; and a brother, Leland Elliott. 

A private family graveside service will be at Oswego Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home of Oswego.
