Rebecca E. Curtis, 39, of Parsons passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, at her home.
She was born on March 13, 1980, at Parsons to Marcia Hazen and Daniel Kidd. She grew up at Parsons and attended Labette County schools.
Rebecca worked at R&P and Bordertown convenience store as a clerk. She enjoyed playing with dogs, taking rides in the country, being outdoors, cosmetology and fashion.
She married David Curtis on June 14, 2000, at Miami, Oklahoma. They later divorced.
She is survived by two sons, Austin Curtis and Weston Curtis of Parsons; her mother, Marcia Hazen of Parsons; her sister, Melissa McGlory of Parsons; several aunts and uncles; her niece, Star McGlory; and three nephews, Anthony Pierce, Khalil McGlory and Clyde McGlory.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Kidd; her maternal grandparents; and her paternal grandparents.
The family will have a memorial service at noon Wednesday at Springhill Cemetery with Pastor Rodney Howell officiating.
