Johnnie Lee Carnahan, 75, of Parsons passed away at 10:47 a.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019, at Woodridge Estates, Parsons.
He was born Oct. 18, 1943, in Parsons to Horace F. and Bessie (McMillan) Carnahan. He grew up in Parsons and graduated from Labette County Community High School.
Johnnie was involved in the automobile sales and service business for 42 years in Parsons. He was the owner/operator of JC Motors. Besides spending time with his family, he also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
On Sept. 14, 1970, he married Sandra K. Lamb in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three sons; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Schmid of Parsons.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, James, Harold, Carl and Wayne Carnahan; and a sister, Bessie Garretson.
The family will have a private service at a later date. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Galesburg.
