ST. PAUL — Brandi Bonita Sammons, 33, of St. Paul passed away at 8:07 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.
Brandi was born Sept. 18, 1987, in Pittsburg, a daughter of Tom and Nancy (Mills) Gardner.
She attended school in Girard and graduated from Girard High School.
On May 27, 2017, Brandi married Joshua Sammons at the United Methodist Church of Walnut. Joshua survives of the home.
Brandi loved her family and especially the children, all children.
Brandi enjoyed fishing, crafts, all animals and helping Josh on the farm. She was an accomplished artist.
Brandi was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Girard.
Survivors in addition to her husband include four sons, Brock Kirkpatrick, Caleb Sammons, Gabriel Sammons, Noah Sammons; a daughter, Adrianna Sammons; a brother, Charles Rob Gardner of California; a sister, Allyssa Gardner of Pittsburg; her mother, Nancy Mills of Girard; her father, Tom Gardner of Pittsburg; grandparents, Butch and Linda Mills of Girard; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Brandi was preceded in death by grandparents, Lavern and Bonita Gardner; and her cousin, Audrey Gardner.
The service for Brandi Bonita Sammons will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Girard with Pastor Mark Wenzelburger officiating. Burial will follow in Girard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home of Girard. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Diabetes Foundation, and these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, 518 W. St. John, P.O. Box 258, Girard, KS, 66743.
