Laura A. Greninger, 58, of Parsons passed away at 5:47 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023, at her home.
She was born on July 28, 1964, in Pittsburg to Cecil and Darlene (Cutshaw) Williams. Laura moved with her family to Parsons at a young age and attended Parsons schools, graduating from Parsons High School in 1982. She attended Labette Community College and received an associate’s degree.
Laura worked for Parsons USD 503 for many years. She had worked in several schools as a teacher’s aide and was currently at Lincoln School. She also had been a bus monitor and day care provider. She loved working with children at the schools and taking care of babies. Laura had great empathy in taking care of people and was and huge pet lover. She was a firm believer in Jesus Christ.
She married Gordon Greninger Jr. on May 10, 2021, in Miami, Oklahoma. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include her three sons, Wyatt Bronson of Parsons, Noah Bronson (Erin Barnett) of Parsons and Bowen Greninger of Joplin; three daughters, Chelsie Bronson (Chad Coy) of Parsons, Ashley Watson (James) of Joplin and Emily DeGraff of Ohio; her mother, Darlene Williams of Parsons; her father-in-law, Gordon Greninger (Georgia) of Parsons; and her mother-in-law, Judy Ray (Jack) of Joplin.
She was preceded in death by her father; and two brothers, Cecil Williams Jr. and Duane Williams.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons. Friends may sign the register at the funeral home until 7 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Nashville Cemetery in Nashville, Missouri, at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. The family suggests memorials to Proud Animal Lovers Shelter and these may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, P.O. Box 942, Parsons, KS, 67357.
