Jase Elizabeth Delich, 18, of Parsons passed away on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, in Pittsburg, where she had recently relocated.
She was born on Oct. 14, 2003, to Kenneth Arden and Melissa Ann (Tiegreen) Delich in Independence. When she was a baby, she moved with her family to Parsons, where she grew up and attended school. Following graduation from Labette County High School this year, she attended Pittsburg School of Beauty. In July, she began working as a nail tech at Salon LA in Pittsburg.
Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially her sister, Alyson. Known for being a goofball, Jase loved to make people laugh. She was artistic and enjoyed painting and was always up for an adventure. Jase’s big heart made her an avid rescuer of pets and people.
Survivors include her parents, Kenny and Melissa Delich of Parsons; her sister, Alyson Delich and her companion, Bailey Collins, of Parsons; her maternal grandfather, Tom Tiegreen and his wife, Carolyn, of Carl Junction, Missouri; her maternal grandmother, Linda Tiegreen of Chanute; her paternal grandfather, Dan Delich and his wife, Tammy, of Independence; and her paternal grandmother, Rebecca Morgan of Parsons; her chosen sister, Emya Horton; many aunts, uncles and friends; and her fur babies.
