Montgomery County recorded its sixth case of COVID-19 on Wednesday.
The county’s health department reported Wednesday afternoon that a person aged 40 to 49 years has contracted COVID-19.
It marked the third consecutive day that a new case had been confirmed following two confirmed cases on Sunday.
Montgomery County also has one confirmed case in the 20-29 age group, one in the 70-79 age group, one in the 80-89 age group and two in the 60-69 age group.
The Montgomery County Health Department doesn’t release the names or hometowns of people who have tested positive for the virus.
A worker at Coffeyville Resources also has tested positive, but his case counted toward the total for Labette County, where he resides.
