PITTSBURG — Crawford County Attorney Michael Gayoso reported that Kylee S. Beachner, 18, of Galesburg has been sentenced for her role in an armed home invasion.
Gayoso said Beachner was sentenced Tuesday to four years in prison for aggravated robbery and aggravated intimidation of a witness. The court is also requiring her to register as a violent offender because a firearm was used in the crime.
The charges relate to a robbery that happened at 5 a.m. Monday, March 11, at 1405 N. Joplin, Pittsburg. Four people, some or all armed with firearms, forced their way into the home, subdued three occupants and injured one of them in the process. The suspects forced the occupants to sit in one room of the home while they rummaged through the residence looking for valuables. The suspects reportedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash, firearms and other valuables and threatened the occupants with harm before leaving the home, according to Pittsburg police.
The three other suspects in the Pittsburg robbery are Daelon L. Hendricks, 22, Jeremy C. Stringfellow, 18, and Malik M. Robison, 20, all of Parsons.
