The valuation of construction projects in Parsons in October topped that of last year’s, but the year-to-date total still lags far behind that of 2018.
The city of Parsons issued 11 building permits last month for a total valuation of $89,743.62. That figure was up from the $37,850 recorded in October 2018.
The running total for 2019 reached $3,067,429, far below the $10,919,935.29 valuation recorded in the first 10 months of 2018. Much of last year’s total came from the beginning of the Holiday Inn Express and Parsons Conference Center construction project.
