OSWEGO —The Oswego USD 504 Board of Education met in special session Tuesday and voted on raises and the negotiated agreement.
In the negotiated agreement, there was a $750 increase to the base, step and/or column movement.
Classified staff received a raise of 50 cents per hour, which is an average of 2.5%.
There was also an increase to the pay teachers receive when covering another class for a teacher when a substitute teacher can't be found. They will receive a flat $20 per hour.
There was no raise to the insurance benefit.
Administrative raises averaged 2.5%.
In other business, the board hired:
— Kellie Polk as the district CNA for the 2022-2023 school year.
— April Thomas as Oswego Jr.-Sr. High School Spanish facilitator for the 2022-2023 school year.
— Elizabeth Fuller as Neosho Heights Elementary at-risk para for the 2022-2023 school year.
— Jeremiah Littlepage as bus driver for the 2022-2023 school year.
The board tabled action on hiring Brittany (Peters) Payne as elementary counselor.
