Parsons police arrested a Southeast Kansas man Monday night on multiple felony warrants from state and federal courts. The arrest of Tremayne M. Darkis, 43, now of Columbus but formerly of Parsons, culminated from a multi-week investigation.

Parsons police had been gathering information on Darkis’ whereabouts. He had failed to appear since September in Labette County District Court for pending criminal matters and had a federal arrest warrant from U.S. District Court for a criminal case on which he has yet to appear. He also has a warrant from Missouri.
