PITTSBURG — Pittsburg police arrested a former Parsons and Oswego man Monday on suspicion of burglary.

Pittsburg police were called at 7:45 p.m. Monday to a residence in the 1200 block of North Smelter for a possible residential burglary. Upon arrival, officers learned the resident arrived home and saw a man run out the door. The burglary victim provided a description of the man, who was located at a convenience store a short time later and detained, according to a release from Pittsburg police.

After further investigation, officers arrested Brant R. Yeoman, 24, of Franklin on suspicion of burglary, theft and criminal damage to property. Yeoman was taken to the Crawford County Jail, where he was being held on a $5,000 bond.
