Parsons police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Tuesday afternoon at a payday loan business in the 2200 block of Main.
Police said the robbery took place at 2:08 p.m. Tuesday at Advance America Payday Loan, 2222 Main.
The robber was described as a white man, 5-foot, 10-inches tall with slender build and long, dark hair. He wore a navy blue hoodie and was armed with a pistol.
