OB Award

Dr. Shawn Zimbrunes, obstetrics and gynecology, and Sharon Roberts, director of the obstetrics department at Labette Health, were recognized Thursday morning at the Labette Health board of trustees meeting for the hospital receiving a Blue Cross and Blue Shield Blue Distinction Plus award for its OB department. Brian Williams, the hospital’s CEO, honored the OB department and all its staff and physicians for their work. Zimbrunes said the award validates what the staff is doing to provide quality patient care.
