Store Robbed

The Parsons Police Department responded to a call Monday morning reporting an armed robbery at Dollar General, 2612 Main. It was the third armed robbery of a business in Parsons since Jan. 26. Advance America Payday Loan and AuBurn Pharmacy also were hit. At 9:09 a.m. Monday a white man wearing blue pants and a tan coat and armed with a black handgun robbed Dollar General. The man fled. Police are asking for assistance from anyone in the area who has cameras or security footage that would locate or identify the suspect.
