
Vickie A. Willey, 79, of Parsons, passed away at 8:55 a.m., Sunday, March 15, 2026, at her home. Vickie was diagnosed with cancer and was well cared for by her loving husband, Jerry, her granddaughter, Haley, and her niece, Victoria.
Vickie Ann Leon was born in Cherryvale, Kansas, on January 18, 1947, to Socorro (Lopez) Leon and Julian Leon.
For many years, Vickie worked at the Leon Family Restaurant, LaCasa Grande; Adventure Line; and retired after 23 years at UPS.
She was an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul Sociey.
A talented cook, Vickie was well-known for her famous chocolate chip cookies and enchiladas.
Vickie was married to John Flores and they had two sons John Paul and Mark Anthony Flores. Vickie and John later divorced.
Vickie married Jerry Willey, and gained three children, Jarret Willey, Jamie Willey (Dianne), and Megan Huettenmueller (Scott).
Survivors include: Her husband of 41 years – Jerry Willey; two sons – John Paul Flores and Mark Anthony Flores; three step-children – Jarret Willey, Jamie Willey (Diane), and Megan Huettenmueller (Scott); three grandchildren – Donte Flores, Haley Flores, Nathan Flores (Abby), Natalie Flores (Ben), Aubrie Flores, Amy Rivera, Jordan Willey, Mia Huettenmueller, Will Huetenmueller, Isaac Willey, Isjohn Johnson (Darian) and Aramis Johnson (Jasmin); eight great-grandchildren; seven siblings – Antonio, Maggie, Helen, Rodgie, Paula, Jack Martinez, and Tammy Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Socorro; and her siblings, Daniel, Lola, Luis, Socorro, Ramona, Alfred, Sheila, and John. The funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Saturday, March 21, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Parsons. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parsons. The rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m., Friday, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends following the rosary. Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
