CHANUTE — Starting the second half of KJCCC play, the Neosho County Panthers men took down the Labette Cardinals, 78-73, on Saturday afternoon.
Champ Powaukee led the Panthers with 21 points.
Donnie Watts paced Labette with 19 points while Denys Kaminskyi chipped in 14.
Neosho County was redhot from the floor, connecting on 57% of its shots. The Panthers also outrebounded the Cardinals, 34-26.
Labette dipped to 9-15 overall and 0-7 in KJCCC play with the loss. Neosho County improved to 12-12 and 3-4, respectively.
