COFFEYVILLE — Snapping a four-game skid, the Parsons Vikings girls earned their second win of the year on Friday night, beating the Coffeyville Golden Tornado on the road, 47-38.
Ayanna Robertson led Parsons with 15 points while Braelyn Hinman-Mitchell and Alex Stoneberger added 13 and 10 points, respectively.
Kaylin Caron led Coffeyville with 24 points.
After trailing, 10-7, through the first quarter, the Vikings went into halftime with a 21-18 advantage. Parsons exploded for 19 points in the third quarter to pull away.
