Below are the upcoming events at the Parsons Public Library.
Tuesday, Dec. 30: Library closed for staff training. Wednesday, Dec. 31-Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026: The Library is closed for New Year’s. The Library will reopen Friday, Jan. 2, at 9 a.m.
Regular Library Hours are Monday-Friday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.; and closed on Sunday.
Daughters of Isabella, St. Paul
Members of St. Lukes Circle, St. Paul gathered at the St. Ambrose parish Hall in Erie, Tuesday, for their December meeting and Christmas party. Attendees enjoyed a wide array of finger foods, desserts and punch.
Regent Linda DeGarmo gave each member a small gift. Cynthia VanLeuween won the door prize which was a hand made wooden church, made by Mr. DeGarmo. Members signed Christmas cards for the residents at Prairie Mission, St. Paul. Mary Jean Zandler distributed the new year books she made for 2026.
Gifts were exchanged among secret prayer partners and names were drawn for secret prayer partners for the coming year. 2026 officers will be announced at the February meeting as there will be no meeting in January.
The remainder of the afternoon was spent playing bingo and visiting. Hostesses were Francie Bohrer, Lois Carlson and Cheryl Trepagnier.
