Taxes for the 2025 Tax Year are due Dec. 20, which falls on a Saturday. Tax payments postmarked on Monday, Dec. 22, will be accepted as current payments. It is encouraged to pay online or by mail. However, individuals may come to the courthouse in Oswego to make tax payments.
The online payment link is: http://www.kansas.gov/propertytax or go to the Labette County website www.labettecounty.com and search under the heading Elected Officials. Scroll down to Treasurer’s Office (Tags/Taxes), and underneath that, select Online Tax Payment. Then, select the first option: Property Tax Payments. To make a Delinquent Tax Payment, option two, one will need to contact the Labette County Treasurer’s Office for the penalty amount due, first.
