VFW Thanksgiving Dinner
VFW Post 704 is having a free Thanksgiving dinner, with all the fixings on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27. Dinner is open to members and anyone in the community. Meals can be eaten at the VFW, taken to-go, or delivered for free. For more information, call the VFW at 620-421-6610.
McCune Farm to Market
McCune Farm to Market will have a dance party this Saturday night starting at 6:30 p.m. featuring DJ Mikey J. Come join the fun in the new Chandelier Room.
Audubon Society
The Southeast Kansas Audubon Society will have the annual Christmas pot luck dinner on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. The meetings are held at the Parsons Arboretum, at 2004 Briggs Ave., at the corner of 21st and Briggs in Glenwood Park in Parsons. Those attending are asked to bring covered dishes of food to share and your own table service. Drinks will be provided. The dinner will be followed by a trivia quiz featuring Southeast Kansas Flora and Fauna. Please note the earlier time for this special meeting. Community National Bank Toy Drive

Christmas Concert
Labette Community College will present a Christmas Concert featuring the Parsons Community Band, Chorus, and Orchestra on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 3 p.m. in the Parsons High School Auditorium
