Below are the upcoming events at the Parsons Public Library.
TUESDAY, Nov. 18: 4 p.m.: Anime Club for teens. WEDNESDAY, Nov. 19: 6 p.m.: Herbal Medicine Part 1 for adults 18+ THURSDAY, Nov. 20: 1 p.m.: Let’s Color! For adults and teens; 4 p.m.: Switch Freeplay for teens.
FRIDAY, Nov. 21: 4:00 p.m.: Let’s Cook! for teens. MONDAY, Nov. 24: 4 p.m., Children’s Craft for ages 5-10; 6 p.m., Book Discussion of “My Friends.”
TUESDAY, Nov. 25: 4 p.m.: Anime Club for teens; 4 p.m.: Children’s Paint N’ Sip for ages 5-10; 6:00 p.m.: Let’s Crisp! Apple Take and Bake Event. Space is limited. One per household. Sign-up required.
WEDNESDAY, Nov. 26: 4 p.m.: Let’s Play! for ages birth-5. THURSDAY, Nov. 27 - SATURDAY, Nov. 29 : Closed for Thanksgiving.
Parsons Ministerial Association
The Parsons Ministerial Association will be hosting a Community Thanksgiving Service at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23. at Westside Christian Church at 5100 Main St. Parsons, KS. Pastor Tom Phelan will be giving the sermon.
Senior Fellowship Lunch
The Altamont Senior Citizens November Fellowship lunch will be held on the third Thursday of the month, Nov. 20, at noon. The menu will be turkey, ham, dressing, gravy, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, cranberry salad, and rolls. A variety of pies will be served for dessert, along with coffee, tea, and water. The Breakfast and Bingo will be held the following Friday, Nov. 21, at 9 a.m. There will be no Fellowship Meal in December, but the Breakfast and Bingo will be on Dec. 19.
