Blood drive set Oct. 23
The Parsons community blood drive to bene. t Labette Health and other medical facilities will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at the Cardinal Event Center, 1306 Main.
The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is sponsoring the drive. Football fans will have a chance to get a Kansas City Chiefs Kingdom T-shirt, while supplies last, for those who successfully donate.
Ozarks Coin Club announce annual Coin and Stamp Show
Ozarks’ Coin Club announces that its 60th Annual Coin and Stamp show will be held Oct. 24-25 at Relics Event Center, 2015 W. Battle. eld Road, Spring. eld, Missouri. The show will run from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 There is no admission and parking is free.
Coin dealers from eight states and several stamp dealers will be present for buying and selling of coins and stamps. ANACS will be offering grading this year. This is the largest continuously running coin show in southwest Missouri. We will have hourly door prizes for both adults and children. Knights of Columbus to hold bene. t breakfast
Knights of Columbus Council 760 – St. Paul-Walnut-Erie is hosting a bene. t breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26. The location is St. Francis Parish Hall at 1st and Lafayette in St. Paul. Join us for sausage, eggs, hotcakes, biscuits and gravy. There will also be an opportunity for a friendly round-table visit. Cost is a free-will donation and proceeds will help a South Mound man who suffered life-altering injuries when a mower fell on him.
