COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — Aubra Ann Giles, 84, of College Park, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025.
Born to Charles and Eulah Richardson, Aubra grew up with a strong sense of family and community. She graduated from Parsons High School and went on to have a long and dedicated career with Southwestern Bell/ AT&T.
On Aug. 20, 1966, she married the love of her life, Manuel “Larry” Giles. Together, they built a life centered on love, hard work and devotion to family.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Jones (Eric) of College Park, Georgia; her grandchildren, Jordon Jones (Sophie) of College Park, Brandon Jones (Alesha) of Riverdale, Georgia, and Camdon Jones (Shavonne) of Douglasville, Georgia; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Deanna Hoffman (Bob) of Parsons; her aunt, Sonja Ward Parsons; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom she dearly loved.
Aubra was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eulah Richardson; her husband, Larry Giles; and her son, Darin Giles.
Aubra will be remembered for her dedication to family and her unwavering faith as a Jehovah’s Witness.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Arvon Phillips Community Center.
