We bid farewell to Stephen Paul Rapalino of Denver, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on Thursday, July 10, 2025, after a short battle with cancer.
Steve touched countless lives with warmth, humor and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts.
Steve was born on Feb. 28, 1955, to Mary and Floyd Rapalino in Parsons. He graduated from Parsons High School in 1973 and attended Pittsburg State University before moving to Denver to start his own snow removal and sprinkler system business. He loved the outdoors and had a passion for hunting and fishing, which included many great trips to South Dakota, Alaska, Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia and Canada.
As Steve departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers – a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water – a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend boundaries of life and death. Though he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy he leaves behind.
He is survived by two sisters, Brenda Dumas, Denver, and Marlene Graham, Overland Park; a brother, Lou Rapalino, Riverside, California; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, at the Denver Mortuary Chapel. A committal service will be at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (12801 W. 44th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO., 80033).
