otes Beekeepers to meet Sept. 11
The Montgomery County Beekeepers Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, at Independence Community College West, 2615 W. Main St., in Independence. Beekeepers will share their mistakes and disasters while working with bees and how they learned from these mistakes. Bring stories.
These stories may give confidence and learning points to new beekeepers who will also have their stories. There will be a discussion time for various points of view as the association can all share the different methods that work for and possibly learn better ways of beekeeping. Members encourage and welcome anyone interested in honeybees to attend the program and meet the beekeepers.
