Jennifer and Mike Dolan from Splitting Emily perform during one of the past End of Summer Bashes in Cherryvale. The fifth annual bash opens at noon Sept. 21 at My Place Event Grounds, 850 S. Liberty St., Cherryvale. The cost is $5 at the gate and 10 rock and metal bands are slated to perform during the day. EdgeOverEdge, a Cherryvale band, is organizing and hosting the event, which also features a corn hole tournament and food trucks. This will be a show for all ages, but parental discretion is advised and attendees must be 21 and older to drink alcohol. Bands performing are Kirra (Oklahoma City); Taranis (Oklahoma City); Project Revolution (Coffeyville); Stoney-Doom (Topeka) Sinfool (Topeka); ORNJ (Bartlesville, Oklahoma); Ghost in the Atlantic (South Coffeyville, Oklahoma); The Coventry Sacrifice (Joplin, Missouri); Eye Creatures (Joplin, Missouri); and EdgeOverEdge.
