Edward L. Heinrichsmeier, 85, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, in Parsons.
Born on Oct. 21, 1939, Ed was a deeply loved father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
Ed led a life rooted in the values of hard work, simplicity and lending a hand. Over the years, he found his joy spending time with family and friends, baling hay, troubleshooting and solving problems with his mechanical ingenuity, perfecting his welding techniques, conquering the daily crossword, cruising on his motorcycle, helping his friends and simply loving his family.
Ed leaves behind a legacy of love in his surviving family, his daughter, Staci (Heinrichsmeier) Reeder; grandchildren, America Reeder and Ace Reeder; a sister, Patty Probasco; and a niece, Shelley Smith and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Pauline (Darland) Heinrichsmeier and Stacy Karl Heinrichsmeier.
Friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The memorial service will follow at 3 p.m.
