The Parsons Babe Ruth 9-10 All-Stars won the state title in Hillsboro over the weekend, going a perfect 5-0 in the state tournament to secure the championship. In pool play, Parsons beat Salina, 16-0, Hilboro Gold, 10-0, and Columbus, 17-7. Parsons then beat Salina, 17-2, in the semifinals before taking down Columbus, 10-6, in the championship game. Ryder Collins of Parsons won Tournament MVP while Collins, Bentley Nutter adn Johnny Pegues were named to the All-Touranment Team. Courtesy photo
