KU announces honor roll

S chools

LAWRENCE — Nearly 8,700 undergraduate students at the University of Kansas earned honor roll distinction for the spring 2025 semester.

The honor roll comprises undergraduates who meet requirements in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and in the schools of Architecture & Design, Business, Education & Human Sciences, Engineering, Health Professions, Journalism & Mass Communications, Music, Nursing, Pharmacy, Professional Studies and Social Welfare.

Honor roll criteria vary among the university’s academic units. Students must complete a minimum number of credit hours to be considered for the honor roll.

ESU graduates named

EMPORIA — Over 500 Emporia State University students graduated during ceremonies in May. Graduate students were recognized May 9; undergraduate students on May 10. Students from this area who graduated include: GALESBURG: Karly N. Mullins, summa cum laude with a bachelor of science in education.

OSWEGO: Johna Gatton, a master of science in early childhood unified.

PARSONS: Sydnie Jo Stice, cum laude with a bachelor of science in sport leadership & recreation.
