The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects. The letting took place June 18 in Topeka. Some of the bids may include multiple projects that have been bundled based on proximity and type of work.
One of the projects is the improvements on U.S. 160 near the Bartlett soybean processing plant. The road and turns into the plant area will be improved, as will a curve to the east. This project is expected to take at least a year to complete and there will be no public access to the road during construction.
