TOPEKA — Washburn University has announced its spring 2025 dean’s list honorees. To qualify for the dean’s list, a student must be enrolled in 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester grade point average of 3.4 to 3.99.

More than 900 students qualified for the dean’s list. Congratulations to all these students, Washburn University is proud of their hard work and commitment to their education.

Among area honorees: Cutler Forman, Cherryvale.

Garner makes USM dean’s list

LEAVENWORTH – University of Saint Mary Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Michelle Metzinger announced the spring 2025 dean’s list.

Kylie Garner from Oswego made the list, earning a 3.5 GPA or better.

MidAmerica Nazarene honors

OLATHE — MidAmerica Nazarene University announced its president’s list, dean’s list and honor roll for the spring 2025 semester. A total of 425 students qualified for the honors.

All students in traditional undergraduate programs carrying 12 semester hours or more with a term GPA from 3.2 to 4.0 may qualify for one of these academic honors. The president’s list is a 4.0 grade point average for the semester; the dean’s list ranges from 3.5 to 3.99; and the honor roll is 3.2 to 3.49.

Ella Burnett of Erie made the president’s list.

UCM dean’s list

The University of Central Missouri (UCM) has announced the students named to the spring 2025 dean’s list.

The following area students earned a spot on the dean’s list (3.5 GPA or above).

Altamont: Lydia Hall. Parsons: Cade Brown.

Butler CC honor roll

EL DORADO — Butler Community College has announced the president’s and dean’s honor roll recipients for the spring 2025 semester.

To be named to the president’s honor roll, students must have earned a 4.0 GPA, and students on the dean’s list earned a 3.50 - 3.99 GPA.

Dean’s list: Parsons: Lindsey Bowman.

SEK woman makes dean’s list

LINCOLN, Neb. — Kierra Dunnam of Galesburg has been named to the dean’s commendation list at the University of Nebraska Lincoln for the spring semester.

Dunnam, a junior majoring in history, was named to the list for the College of Arts and Sciences.

More than 250 students at Nebraska were named to the commendation list for the spring semester.

The Commendation List recognizes students in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, College of Arts and Sciences and/or College of Journalism and Mass Communications who met or exceeded a specified grade-point average and carried six to 11 graded semester hours.

Emporia State honor roll

EMPORIA — Emporia State University congratulates the more than 650 undergraduates named to the university honor roll for spring 2025. Students from this area include: Edna: Macy Clevenger, biology major. Galesburg: Karly Mullins, elementary education major. Parsons: Sydnie Stice, sport leadership & recreation major. Sycamore: Sarah Schwatken, general studies major.

Fort Hays spring graduates

HAYS — Fort Hays State University recognized approximately 1,691 graduates during its commencement ceremonies May 16-17 at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays.

Graduates from the area: Altamont: Hanna Haraughty, master of science in education administration.

Cherryvale: Jessica Tryon-Koehler, master of science in counseling; Sydney Wolken, master of science in communication sciences and disorders.

Parsons: LaKaito Barr-Miller, master of science in education; Jamie Jones, bachelor of science in psychology.

Graceland

LAMONI, Iowa — Graceland University has announced the graduation list. Graduates from around the country and the world have been recognized for earning undergraduate and graduate degrees from Graceland University between December 2024 through April 2025.

Kolby Carter of St. Paul graduated with a master of science in nursing (family nurse practitioner).

SNHU announces president’s list

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Southern New Hampshire University congratulates the following students on being named to the spring 2025 president’s list. The spring terms run from January to May.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.7 and above for the reporting term are named to the president’s list. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired eight-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring and summer.

Area students on the list: Chetopa: Courtney Maxwell.

Drury announces dean’s list

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Earning a spot on Drury University’s dean’s list is a significant accomplishment. The recognition means a student earned a grade point average of 3.6 or greater while carrying a full-time course load of 12 or more semester hours.

Area students on the list: Parsons: Alex Meister.

Maryland dean’s list

ADELPHI, Md. — Nearly 18,000 University of Maryland Global Campus students were named to the dean’s list for the spring term. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earned a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the term, and maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

Kelsey Stephens of Oswego made the list, as did David Hawpe of Pittsburg.

University of Maryland Global Campus was founded more than 75 years ago specifically to serve the higher education needs of working adults and military servicemembers.
