RRB relocates Wichita office

As a cost-cutting measure, the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board recently relocated the Wichita office to the U.S. Courthouse, 401 N. Market St., Room B-56, Wichita, 67202. The location opened to the public on June 27. The previous office was in a commercial office park at 2020 N. Webb Road.

The new location will provide a more central location in the downtown area.

The relocation of the Wichita office is part of a series of field office moves this calendar year that could save $1.2 million over 10 years.

The office serves the railroad community from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments for in-person service are not required but can be arranged through the agency’s toll-free number of (877) 772-5772. Customers can also communicate with the agency’s field offices by email through the agency website, RRB.gov.
