
On June 17, Labette Health’s Nurse Residency Program celebrated the graduation of its first cohort of nurses. The program lasts a year and supports recently graduated registered nurses as they transition into their first professional roles. Throughout the program, they work in a variety of clinical education content, including simulation and scenario-based learning, skills/ task training, didactic education, shadowing opportunities and quality improvement engagement projects.
