FORT SCOTT — Fourteen swimmers from the Parsons Dolphins competed in the Fort Scott Meet on Saturday and Sunday.
The Dolphins had several swimmers earn top-3 finishes in various races.
The boys 14U 200 yard medley relay team of Atticus Wilhoft, Asher Ebersole, Henry Legler and Samuel Steeves finished second.
Sarah Steeves finished second in the girls 10U 50 yard freestyle. She also got second in the girls 10U 50 yard backstroke and second in the girls 10U 100 yard individual medley.
Samuel Steeves took first in the boys 11-12 50 yard freestyle and also won the 50 yard backstroke. He won the boys 11-12 100 yard individual medley.
Harley Manners claimed third in the girls 11-12 50 yard freestyle and third in the boys 11-12 100 yard freestyle. She also got third in the girls 11-12 50 yard breaststroke.
Caleb Steeves was runner-up in the boys 15-18 50 yard backstroke and took third in the boys 15-18 200 yard individual medley.
Dominic Hinman was second in the boys 10U 50 yard breaststroke.
The Dolphins also competed in Monett, Missouri on June 7.
Dolphins that won races there included the girls 18U team of Jessica Steeves, Kolbie Baugher, Josie Baugher and Harley Manners.
Sarah Steeves won the girls 10U 50 yard freestyle, 25 yard butterfly and the 100 yard freestyle.
Samuel Steeves won the boys 11-12 50 yard freestyle, 11-12 50 yard backstroke and the 100 yard freestyle.
Caleb Steeves won the boys 15-18 50 yard freestyle. Jessica Steeves won the girls 15-18 200 yard individual medley.
Harley Manners won the girls 11-12 50 yard breaststroke.
The Dolphins are set to host the Taran Sack Invitational on June 28.
