Below are the events for next week at the Parsons Public Library.
MONDAY: 10 a.m., family morning movie; 11:30 a.m., free lunch for children age 18 and younger; 4 p.m., LEGO Club for ages 15 and under; 6 p.m., rock painting for all ages. Rocks are available or bring your own.
TUESDAY: 10 a.m., Sensory Hour for ages birth to 3; 11:30 a.m., free lunch for children age 18 and younger; 1 to 3 p.m., veterans benefits assistance; 4 p.m., Anime Club for ages 10 to 18; 4 p.m., summer vision/ mood board for all ages.
WEDNESDAY: 10 a.m., Story Hour for ages 2 to 6; 11:30 a.m., free lunch for children age 18 and younger; 4 p.m., pendulum painting for ages 1018. Space is limited. Sign-up required.
THURSDAY: 10 a.m., craft Thursday for ages 6 to 10 (making woven bowls), but space is limited so sign-up is required; 11:30 a.m., free lunch for children age 18 and younger; 1 p.m., coloring group for adults and teens; 4 p.m., cozy read-in for ages 8 to 10; 4 p.m., Switch freeplay for teens.
Sunday country breakfast
BARTLETT — The Bartlett Community Church will serve breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Sunday, June 1. The all-youcan- eat breakfast buffet menu will feature homemade sausage gravy served with biscuits, hash browns, scrambled eggs, egg casseroles, ham, sausage, fresh fruit, breakfast sweets, donuts, homemade cinnamon rolls, coffee, juice and milk.
Donations will be accepted to support the ministry and mission work of the church. The public is invited to attend.
Carryout will be available for those who do not want to dine in. The church is located at 712 Main on the south side of Bartlett. In case of severe weather conditions, you can call 620-423-1789 or 620-7784635 to check for cancellation.
St. Paul Public School reunion
ST. PAUL — The St. Paul Public School reunion is scheduled to begin at noon Sunday, June 1, at the St. Paul Senior Center, 505 N. Main.
This will be a potluck luncheon. Former students and family members are welcome to attend.
Parsons Livestock Auction
On Wednesday, the Parsons Livestock Auction sold 700 cattle.
Choice cows 157-167.50, canners-cutters 148-157, shelly cows 147 and down, bred cows up to $2,000, pairs up to $3,200; choice bulls 190-221, lower grades 189 and down.
Steers: Up to 400 pounds, 431-500; 400-500, 377-425; 500-600, 295-377; 600-700, 277-362; 700-800, 270-318; 800 and over, 252-283.
Heifers: Up to 400 pounds, 350-402; 400-500, 320-370; 500-600, 300-355; 600-700, 260-306; 700-800, 246-289; 800 and over, 210-250.
