EUDORA — Losing to the top seed in the KSHSAA 4A East Regional, the Parsons Viings softball season came to an end with a 16-0 loss to the Eudora Cardinals on Wednesday evening.
Eudora’s pitching staff of Sam Claire and Olivia O’Toole combined to hurl a no-hitter over four innings of work. Claire added eight strikeouts.
Parsons pitcher Adalyn Morris ate the loss, allowing 11 earned runs and striking out one.
With the loss, Parsons’ season ends with a 4-16 overall record.
