Helen Anita Dewitt, 63, of Parsons passed away Friday, April 18, 2025.
She was born in Dodge City. She graduated from Parsons High School in 1980. Helen married Delbert Dewitt on Oct. 20, 1982.
She enjoyed being outside, gardening and scrapbooking. Helen loved sharing stories of all the adventures in her lifetime. She enjoyed decorating for holidays, especially at Halloween. Kids young and old would come by her house to see her decorations and how she dressed up that year. She would sit on her porch and hand out candy or some kind of trinket to the kids who couldn’t have candy. Helen had a kind soul and would help anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert, in January 2019; her parents, Ray and Melva Stover; three brothers; and a sister.
A celebration of life will be from 3 to 5 p.m. May 17 at The Elks in Parsons.
