ALTAMONT — Earning a pair of run-rule wins on Thursday, the Labette County Grizzlies beat the Coffeyville Golden Tornado, 11-1, 22-5 in softball action.
In Game 1, Sierra Hill tossed five innings of fourhit ball with no earned runs allowed and nine strikeouts.
Charley Wilson had three hits and four RBIs, including two triples. Karly Waun and Keelie Good each had two hits for the Grizzlies.
As for Game 2, Good had three hits and as many RBIs. Karsyn Bates had six RBIs on two hits.
Malaya Broadwell had four RBIs and two hits while Wilson had three RBIs.
Hill earned another win, tossing all three innings of the win.
