Debbie L. Head, 59, of Parsons died early Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at her home. She had been in failing health several years.

She was born Dec. 11, 1950, in Parsons to James B. and Mary Ann (Shores) Head. She lived in Erie and Wichita as a small child. In 1955 she moved to California. She graduated from high school in Oakland, Calif., and attended junior college at Stockton, Calif.

She was employed in Stockton as a nurse assistant and in the late 1980s and in early 1990s was employed as a dialysis technician in Lake Havasu, Ariz. In 1997 she returned to Parsons.

She was a Catholic.

Survivors include a daughter, Julee Anne Wilson and her husband, Casey, of Napa, Calif.; two grandchildren, Zachary Wilson and Ashlee Wilson; her father, James B. Head of Parsons; three brothers, Mel Fogle of New Hampshire, Jarold Head of Parsons and James Thornton of Springfield, Ore.; and two sisters, Linda Suits of Melbourne, Fla., and Janis James of Parsons.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Crotty; and her brother, Larry Head.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Carson-Wall Funeral Home.
