INDEPENDENCE — Jade O’Neill, 62, formerly of St. Paul, died at 8:07 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at her home in Independence, Mo.

She was born July 27, 1948, in Chanute to Earl and Maxine (Greely) Patterson. She grew up and attended schools in Chanute. She attended Neosho County Community College in Chanute and Coffeyville Community College. In May 2005, she earned an associate’s degree.

For several years she worked at Wichita State University.

She married Lawrence E. “Larry” O’Neill on Feb. 2, 1995, at St. Petersburg, Fla. He preceded her in death on Nov. 21, 2003.

Survivors include a son, Shawn Crouch of Chanute; four daughters, Tracy, Christina, Sheila and Melissa; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Onnie Pier of Independence, Mo.

The service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Faith Bible Church, 102 S. Lafayette, Chanute.

Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons is in charge of arrangements.

The service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, Mo. Burial will follow at Red Oak Cemetery. Greenlawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
