She was born on Jan. 3, 1928, in Cherryvale to Conard W. and Sarah A. (Basore) Tincknell.
She married Charles D. Frederick on Nov. 5, 1990. He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2009.
She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include a son, Kent Frederick and his wife, Lynda; and a grandson, Alexander.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Kermit Tincknell, Ralph Tincknell, Conard Tincknell and George Tincknell; and three sisters, Elizabeth Tincknell, Lena Belle Clemens and Myril Tincknell.
There will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. Sept. 18 at Plymouth Place, 315 N. La Grange Road, La Grange Park, Ill. There will be a private interment at Bronswood Cemetery, Oakbrook, Ill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to First United Methodist Church of La Grange, Ill., or La Grange Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution.
