AMERICUS — Jack H. Tatum, 80, of Americus died Monday, July 26, 2010, at his home.

He was born Sept. 15, 1929, in Anderson, Mo., to Henry and Lois Tatum.

Survivors include his wife, Shirlene of the home; two daughters, Pat Shultz and Marjorie Smith; two stepdaughters, Judy Wilson and Pam Reynolds; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Tatum; a sister, Dorothy Baldwin; and two nephews, Don and Bob Woodworth of Parsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Lee Nell Verner and Ruth Woodworth-Fink.

Mr. Tatum was cremated. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Americus Methodist Church with Pastor Gina Gile officiating.
