CHETOPA — David Allen O’Neal, 56, of Chetopa died at his home Wednesday, July 14, 2010.

He was born Jan. 27, 1954, in Columbus to William Paul “Bud” and Olive Faye (Seitz) O’Neal.

Through the years, he worked as a laborer in construction.

Survivors include a son, Shawn Wayne O’Neal, of Parsons; a daughter, Nichole Mullins of Parsons; a stepson, Ray Evans of Miami, Okla.; a brother, Dan O’Neal of Arizona; and three sisters, Pat Rion of Scammon, Cathy Feagan of Pittsburg and Mary Brill of West Plains, Mo.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lacey O’Neal, in 1989.

There will be a private memorial service at a future date. Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa is in charge of arrangements.
